Mike was with us at Samuel King’s for five days and we profited hugely from his input.

His manner was absolutely excellent; just right, supportive without being a ‘clever clogs’. His approach to the English department certainly got the best out of us. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable.

I look forward to adapting my own practice in response to some (many) of the approaches we discussed.

Mike has had an excellent relationship with all the students involved and they have responded well to the varied and challenging activities he prepared for the sessions. The activities motivated the pupils and provided long-lasting strategies to help the cope with different revision techniques.
